RAM SILWAL ADVENTURES is a Swedish company based in Malmö. We run white water kayaking courses, kayaking trips and expeditions and other paddling adventures in Scandinavia.

The company is runned by Ram Silwal. Ram divides his time between Scandinavia in the summers and Nepal in autumn and spring. In Nepal we run ROYAL BEACH NEPAL ADVENTURES based at the Royal Beach Camp between Kathmandu and Pokhara on the Trisuli river. For more info see: www.royalbeachnepal.com

Ram Silwal - Professional kayaker, adventure guide and expeditionleader

Born in 1975 in Nepal on the river Trisuli, Ram Silwal has played on the river since childhood. At early age he made his passion into profession. He has worked with adventure tourism on and off the river for more then fifteen years.

Ram holds a diploma in adventure tourism and is a professional kayaker and riverguide, SRT- and BCU-certified. He has worked as senior riverguide, kayakinstructor and consultat in several countries around the world, including Nepal, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, France, India, Thailand and New Zeeland.

He has for several years acted as consultant to the British army on several adventurous training projects in the Himalayas and the Alps. He has lead and participated in several major riverexpeditions, many of them featured in international adventure- and paddling magazines and some of them turned into films showing on channels like National Geographic Channel and Outdoor Life Network.
