Royal Beach Camp

The Royal Beach eco-adventure Camp is situated on the Trisuli river 85 km west of Kathmandu and 115 km east of Pokhara in Nepal. The beach camp is our base for Himalayan Adventures!

The camp is located on a beautiful private beach, that got it's name from the fact that the king Birendra camped here when he went rafting down the Trisuli in the early 1990's. The Royal Beach Camp is designed and built in harmony with nature and we stay in two-man bamboo-huts. Our lounge is relaxing, the kitchen serves delicious meals cooked with local foods and fresh herbs from our garden and the bar serves up cold beers for sundown.
The camp provides the perfect environment for kayaking courses for beginners and more advanced paddelers. We are Nepals leading Kayak-school and teach courses at internetional standrads. Courses are from 2-14 days. The camp is also the starting point for multiday river running in kayak or raft.

The camp surroundings provides for a mutitude of activities, on and off the river: Canyoning, Rafting, Hikes, Mountinbike trips and much more. The camp itself is a perfect spot for a few quiet days realxing on the beautiful, sandy, white beach next to the river.

We do training programmes for local young people who want to train to become kayak instructors and rafting guides. our trainees help running the camp, and by staying with us you support their education.
